And in news just in...

As told by E: Today is Wednesday December 27, 2006 and I lost my first tooth. Dad and I went to town and while on the train putting the umbrella in my mouth I noticed that my tooth was wobbly. Dad said, "Give me a look here" and I was right.
Then I played with it all day and when I was eating some garlic bread for dinner it was crunchy and I accidentally swallowed my tooth! We are going to write a special note to the tooth fairy!

Santa Did Land On Our Runway!

And he brought lots of presents! Dad got aBBQ apron complete with tools from E, a "One Foot in the Grave" DVD and some new polo shirts. Mum got a medicine ball so she can follow up on her gym work at home, a manicure and pedicure voucher, "The Pact" by Jodi Piccoult and best of all a pink and white mountain bike!

E was very pleased to recieve a ticket to the "Walking with Dinosaurs" show at Boondall, a Pterodactyl Car Racing set and Thomas' Water Tower. D is now the proud owner of a Rhenaus Rollercoaster Set (Thomas), a Thomas Torch and a Very Hungry Caterpillar Board Game.

And here's what we think about Santa!

A Place for Santa to Land

Made from the left over sand. Lesson learnt from the new sandpit experience - a cubic metre of sand is a lot of sand!

Some Work in our Yard Part 2

Poor little D has been waiting since June for new sand but the logs had rotted around the old one and needed to be replaed as well so the job got put off and put off until last week. As you can see, Dad and D found a good use for what sand was left in the old sandpit!

Some work in our yard part 1

On Sunday December 17 we finally got around to doing the new sandpit and a new garden in the front. With a big tip truck arriving loaded up with sand and soil a wonderful time was had by all. Mum and Dad had very sore muscles for a few days afterwards.

A Holiday at R Bay

D knew all about holidays this time and he fitted as much as he could into every minute of his week away even if it meant waking up the rest of the family at sunrise each day. I'm sure he didn't want us to miss anything important. The boys love playing on the foreshore at R Bay which has some spectacular space age equipment. D is also very much into pretending now so he spent a large amount of time stumbling around on the sand with a spade held on top of his head - being a scary shark!

School Christmas Concert

Mr E was "Joseph" in the pre-school item in the school Christmas concert. He was shy for the first few months at his new school - honestly! Make sure that you admire the delicately handcrafted "crook" he is carrying. Looked good but made doing the actions difficult!

We Delivered D to Day Care

And when we picked him up he was a Pirate!
