Gladiators!

The boys are just loving Gladiators and have watched it avidly for the last two Sunday nights. They've made up their own "gladiator" names - E is "Skull" and D is "Crossbone" - pronounced "Crosh-bone" and they have their "poses" to go with the names!

Perhaps now destined for the Olympics Just Yet

But Master E pictured here with his Year 7 buddy made a good showing at his first swimming carnival. He swam 25m free style without a kickboard and finished fourth. We are very proud of him and the way he has improved in his swimming this year. Ditto for Master D!

Now this is the Lego that Mum likes

Isn't it gorgeous? The set can be built in three different ways which E has done and he's now branched out into his own designs - perhaps an architect in the making.

Master E turns 7

The birthday was celebrated with a family afternoon tea and a party for Year 1s at the local pool. Lego was one of his favourite presents. The set pictured is is skull castle. Mum much prefers the beautiful house set he bought with his birthday money from Grandma and Pop. Little brother conquered some nerves to go on the blue slide at the pool and Master E has his photo taken with a special friend of his because they have matching gaps in their teeth!

The End of our First Minkey Season

The boys are pictured with their very patient Minkey's coach Alan and the bottom picture is of D just after he received his trophy. He was absolutely stunned when it was handed to him so no doubt there will be a lot of show and tell this week!
